Recently had someone pass away and this meant an elderly person was now going to be living by themselves and also, most likely may be leaving the house empty for long periods of time. We traveled there to take care of things, but before leaving, I installed two of these cameras covering all of the entrances into the house. We also interfaced them to Alexa, which we also installed, to remind them when to take their medications each day and to make it so they can just ask Alexa for help if the find they can’t reach a phone for some reason. This all took only a couple of hours to set up.It far exceeded expectations. The camera view is clear. You can install an app on your phone so you can open up either camera to check in in the event someone is not answering or responding, to make sure everything is ok.I wasn’t even aware this had motion detection when I bought it. We set it up so they can just tell Alexa, “Alexa enable cameras” before they leave the house. This is much easier for them then figuring out how to run an app on their phone and enable them. Then when they get home, they just say “Alexa disable cameras” followed by a password. If any motion is detected after they have been enabled, your cellphone will get a text, and a snippet of video is recorded so you can see what triggered the alert.I was so impressed with it, I bought another set for myself when I got home. I will use them whenever I travel to be able to check in on my house and make sure it is still there. The next time I visit my mother who is in her 80s, I will be installing a similar setup for her too.It just gives peace of mind to know you can check in if needed, even if you are hundreds of miles away. The one thing I don’t like about it, I created an account for them to set everything up, but if I want to check the cameras, I have to long into the app with their account. With Alexa, I was able to easily set it up so if they aske Alexa to get help, it contacts multiple people. It would be nice if all of those same people could have access to the camera using their own account instead of having to use the primary account owners credentials. That would allow you to potentially give temporary access that could be revoked after a certain date. It would also be nice for once I have one set up in my mother’s house. I will have three systems at that point I might want to check in on. It would be nice to be able to just log in as me and pick any of the three systems that I have access to to check on them, rather than having to log out and then log in as a different person for each one.

I got the two cameras here and also the doorbell with sync module. I definitely recommend getting a sync module along with these cameras. When you have the sync module you DO NOT have to pay a monthly fee to watch recorded clips. The sync module records to a usb, and you CAN access the usb clips through the phone app, you do NOT have to put the usb into a computer to view.Other notes:1. Super, super clear pictures.2. Easy installation.3. Using night vision through a window isn’t good. However they make a window adapter you can buy separately. If you turn off night vision and have outdoor lights on, it works just fine through the glass without using night vision or the adapter.4. The app makes it really easy to manage turning the cameras on and off.5. WiFi related; If you have a “5g only” router the cameras cannot connect to WiFi. Most 5g routers are “dual band”, offering a 2.4g connection also. If you have a 5g router make sure it is dual band. Finally, I really love that it was one purchase price and done. I don’t like systems that require monthly subscriptions because they add up fast.

I didn’t expect much for $25. I was wrong! This mini camera was easy to set up and detects motion immediately for me. I have this pointing out my second floor window towards the street. I’ve previously had the ring doorbell and it wash absolutely trash. I expected similar results from this due to the price. I was very wrong. I paid $150 for the ring doorbell. You would think the pricing was reverse for these products. Everything about this camera exceeded my expectations. I turned off night vision and the active lights in order to see through the window at night and it still provides a clear picture and detects motion flawlessly. I’m extremely impressed and will be purchasing more cameras after only one day of use. Your money is very well spent on this mini camera!!

I bought 6 of these to put around my house as I travel for work on a lot. so here are some points i like to mention about this product.1. The app is really easy to use, very straight forward, there are no confusion on what settings to use and how to use them.2. The intercom system is loud, I can clearly hear from across a room of 200sqft.3. the video quality is excellent, there are no glitches in the streaming process either.4. Wide angle, it might seem like it looking at that little box but it can cover a wide range from 1 single camera.you do have to pay a subscription to store your video clips.

Doesn’t have a battery back up luckily I’m a bit of a geek and so I can plug a battery that can charge itself and supply power at the same time.I should have checked the specs closer and so I guess it boils down to the old saying “Buyer read carefully about what you are about to purchase” 😔Other than that it’s a great camera that I use with a portable Hotspot that was a bit stubborn to link too but I got it to work and so I’m happy about that 😊Update: Since the camera doesn’t have a battery what I did was plug it into a rechargeable battery that is plugged into a USB 12 volt charger and so if my source of power is somehow compromised it will still have power for a very long time and so if my math serves me correctly it would probably last well beyond the twu years they claim their batteries last in their other units. Now it’s a winning camera for the price and it’s intended environment and purpose now I just have to hide it somewhere. 🤔

I’ve had my mini blink since May of 2021. I really love it but a month or so it went offline. I did everything to try and get it back up with no success. I then tried deleting my blink app and reinstalling it. It still kept my original sign on information. When I got to the last step to join my wifi it always had the join box unhighlighted. So I hit my return key this time instead of just clicking on the join box. When I went to the join box it was highlighted and let me select join!. I then went and changed my status from disarmed to armed and so far it’s working. Maybe just a fluke but I have tried everything prior to doing this and nothing worked. So try deleting and reinstalling the app & hit return to get to the join box and maybe it will work!

I got a few of these cameras to keep an eye on my dog when I’m at work and so far it’s been great. I got the 399 a month subscription so I can save the 10 second clips that it captures when something walks into one of the trigger zones. It’s really self-explanatory it’s really easy to set up. I am really glad I have it. I usually leave the sound off on them, you can turn it on, but it just captures a lot of like white noise but it helps me see if my dog is getting into anything. I also got the doorbell and an outdoor camera but I haven’t set those up yet.

Easy set up. Download the apps, plug in devices, follow the steps and you’re on your way. Picture is clear as well as video. You have a 30 day free trial of their app then either choose the basic plan or upgraded plan for more than one camera. Basic is $3 a month or $30 for the year upfront. Upgraded plan is $10 a month or $100 upfront. I think this system is basic, does the job and I’ll go without a couple cups of coffee every month ( to not gripe about the cost) just to know my home is secure.

This product is great! I purchased this camera to watch my pets as I was going to be away for a long period of time on vacation. This camera is so easy to set up on my phone, it took about 3 minutes to set it up. The picture quality is great and you’re able to see everything through the camera on the app. The night vision mode is great as I could still see everything and the picture was perfect. The camera never missed any kind of motion and I was always able to play back the videos in 30 second clips and save them to my camera roll if I wanted to!

I really like the mini camera BETTER than the doorbell one it’s too sensitive though it keeps going off literally every second but that’s ok though I had to call n complain about the doorbell one because I only had it for seriously people for 2 months n I spent more on batteries then what the camera actually cost me I had to replace the batteries every week NO JOKE so they sent me another one so hopefully I don’t have issues with this one they said the batteries USUALLY last a year they didn’t just letting you guys know about the battery situation my neighbor has the same issues with her batteries
